Task Manager

This tutorial covers managing the list of tasks created when a prospect performs an action based on set rules in the Campaign section.


How the tasks are created


Suppose you have created an email campaign for a sender. !Please refer to the tutorial Create Campaign to learn how to create a campaign!


To receive automatic tasks for that sender, you need to set the rules for a desired email in the campaign.


1. You open your campaign by clicking on Campaign - Manage Campaigns in the navigation menu. We will click on the campaign name '50% off on Tulips' in this example.


2. For this campaign, I have created three engagements and have selected Email, LinkedIn, and Instagram as the types of communication to connect with a prospect. Let's say that I would like to set the rule for my third engagement - Instagram to receive tasks. Click on the Pencil icon to edit the email.


3. Here is my Instagram email. You can tell by the banner color and the text 'On Instagram'. To set the rule for this email, click on the Add Rule blue button.


4. Select Instagram and tick the given options you want to set the rule. For example, you select the first option, 'When the Lead Connects via Instagram'. When any contact who received the email campaign connects via Instagram, the task will automatically be added for the sender.



How to Manage Tasks


Go to the navigation menu on the left side or top of the page and click on Tasks - Task Manager. !For security reasons, we covered any sensitive information!


The report allows you to view and track the following information:

  • Sender's name;

  • The number of prospects;

  • The number of current and completed tasks.

You can click on any sender’s name to view a more detailed report.


Here you see the list of prospects who have met the rule set for this email campaign. The screenshot above shows that the rule was set to send the task when a prospect connects on LinkedIn. !Again, for security reasons, we covered any sensitive information!.


The LinkedIn email is displayed below the multicolor squares that represent email campaigns.


You can also see that the prospect opened the email three times, with the last opened date on May 25th, 2022.


You can also select a category for this prospect and mark the task as completed or not possible.
